Because both products were built as agency tools first. If we're running your lead generation, you already have unlimited access — including premium models, every channel, and every integration. Bundling it free with an active engagement keeps the products useful to clients without giving away the same value to everyone else.

Can I try Pro before paying?

Yes — every paid plan (Pro, Team, Individual, Plus) starts with a 7-day free trial. Sign up, enter payment details so Clerk can hold the subscription, and use the product for seven days at no charge. Cancel any time during the trial and you pay nothing. After the trial ends, the 30-day money-back guarantee gives you a second safety net: if the first month wasn't worth it, email us for a no-questions refund.

How does the 7-day free trial actually work?

When you pick a paid plan at checkout, Clerk asks for payment details and starts a 7-day timer. You get full access to the plan's features immediately — at the monthly quota for that plan. On day 8 the first month is billed automatically; cancel before then and no charge is made. The trial is one-per-account; you can't restart it by signing up again with the same email.

What counts as a 'prompt per month' and what happens when I hit the cap?

Every time you click Generate in Prompt Studio, one prompt is counted against your monthly quota. The counter is workspace-scoped (per organization or per personal account) and resets on the first of every calendar month at 00:00 UTC. When you reach 80% of your cap, a styled warning banner appears across the dashboard telling you how many prompts remain. When you hit the cap, further generation requests are blocked with an upgrade prompt — saved prompt history stays accessible, and you can still read past outputs. The cap is enforced server-side in the API route, not client-side, so it cannot be bypassed.

Why don't Individual and Plus include premium models?

Premium models (GPT-5, Claude Sonnet/Opus, Gemini Pro, Grok) cost real money per token at the provider. Bundling them into a $9 or $19 personal plan would either eat the margin or force a tight token cap that ruins the experience. Instead, Personal plans run on the seven free OpenRouter models — which are genuinely capable for most prompt-engineering work — and premium models are the headline upsell when you outgrow that. If you want premium on a personal account, Plus's $19 lets you bring your own provider key on Team if you ever migrate to an organization.

How are agent conversations counted?

One 'conversation' is one visitor session — a single thread between a visitor and an agent, regardless of how many messages are exchanged inside it. Sessions are counted per calendar month across all agents in your workspace combined. Plus includes 200 conversations/month, Pro 1,000, Team 10,000, and the agency engagement plan is unlimited. When you near the cap, the same dashboard banner that warns about prompts will show conversation usage too.

Why €19 for Pro? That seems cheap for a B2B SaaS.

It is, on purpose. Pro is priced so a graduate student or freelancer can put it on a personal card. Most prompt-engineering and agent platforms start at €50–€200/month — that prices out exactly the people we want using the product. The economics work because Team and agency engagements cover the build cost.

I'm already an agency client. What do I pay?

Nothing. Both products are included free with the full Team feature set for the duration of any active lead-generation engagement. The dashboard becomes a shared workspace with our team.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Data is never deleted on downgrade — it becomes read-only beyond the new plan's limits. Drop from Team to Pro and existing unlimited-retention conversations stay accessible; new conversations follow Pro retention. Cancel entirely and your data is exported on request and deleted within 30 days.
